It's all the rage! Faux embossing–well, that is what I am calling it anyways. Lay punchies of any shape on a piece of cardstock of the same color and there you have it. I recently saw a sample KWerner did on her blog and then I was flipping through my Stampin' Up! catty and saw quite a few samples of the same thing. I was curious to see if it worked in real life, not just when someone is taking fabulous photos of their samples.
Yesterday I was working on a layout of Katie and my grandma and felt it just needed something subtle. I stamped some butterflies with versamark and then added a few punched Martha butterflies from the same kraft paper I used on the page. Easy peasy!
