Hope you had a spooktacular weekend!!

I cannot believe it is already November. This year I am planning on creating all handmade gifts for family and friends. Handmade gifts are so much more special than gift cards or something you just walk into a store and purchase–there is so much love in them! Plus, in this economy, it is a good way to save a little money, take a step back, and slow down. I love that it is not all about how money you spend on gifts this year — that pressure was wearing me out in years past! I hear “handmade is in” so if you'd like to create something from the heart to give to your loved ones, don't miss out on my last classes of the year. I encourage you to take a class and then go home and replicate the idea as many times as you like–that's what you're paying for in a class — to get the ideas and techniques to make similar creations on your own.

Plus be sure to check out my etsy shop as I am adding new handmade items and kits every day! Here are this month's upcoming classes:

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
