My "Mommy" Time

When Matthew naps I could think of a million things I want to get done….but I'd rather take a nap with him. Or sit next to him on the couch and watch “Yo Gabba Gabba” with him. Play with his feet, play with his toys, talk to him. I guess I'm just enjoying being a mom more this time around because I know we aren't going to have any more kidlets after he and Katie.

Anyways, now that he is awake, I decided to get up and blog! Nothing like trying to blog with a toddler trying to turn the computer off in between keystrokes.

After months of talking, emailing and phone tag, I finally got a class scheduled at IAT!! Make that TWO classes!! Woohoo! It's just one of those things, where since I am far from the store, they were really busy, you know how it is…but now it is happening! I am so excited. Mel and all the staff there are awesome, the new store is super cute, PLUS I get to work on promoting Scrapbook Royalty more so it is just perfect timing. I had a blast there at NSD and any time WhoGAS has cropped there so I can't wait to get back. Here are some sneak peeks of my classes coming up at the end of the month (the full samples are on display at the store):

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
