Today I created a frame using  The Duck Brand® Patterned Duct Tape Rolls, Zig-Zag Zebra and the Westcott Brand® Hobby Knife.  The Duck Brand® Patterned Duct Tape Rolls, Zig-Zag Zebra is on sale this week at Target for just $3.39 a roll!

I have had this frame for a few months now, getting a deal on it while on clearance.  I think it was a 4 pack of frames for $2! I used a couple of them but honestly, this bright yellow only matches one of the rooms in my house and the frames were coming apart at the seams. My daughter's room is pink, black, and white and as soon as I saw The Duck Brand® Patterned Duct Tape Rolls, Zig-Zag Zebra, I knew what to do!

I started by applying a strip of The Duck Brand® Patterned Duct Tape Rolls, Zig-Zag Zebra to the front of the frame with tape extending over the edges of the frame.

I used the Westcott Brand® Hobby Knife to trim the tape from the roll. O.M.G. The tape cut like butter and the Knife is now my new best friend! I was so impressed with the precision of the knife, how easy the ergonomic handle was to control, and how little pressure I needed to use to cut through the Tape. In addition, the blade resisted picking up any of the adhesive from the tape.

I then wrapped the tape around the frame to cover the sides an inside lip. I did this on both the right and left hand sides of the frame.

For the top and bottom layers of the frame, I wanted to miter the tape in the corners. I laid the tape on the frame as I did for the right and left sides.

Then I used the Westcott Brand® Hobby Knife to cut a diagonal line from the outside corner to the inside corner of the frame. The Westcott Brand® Hobby Knife cut with such precision I was completely amazed! I was able to easily peel away the The Duck Brand® Patterned Duct Tape Rolls, Zig-Zag Zebra that I had cut away, revealing the mitered corner. By the way, did you know this Westcott Brand® Hobby Knife is available in pink too?!

I repeated on the bottom of the frame and replaced the glass and back of the frame. Now it's ready to go for a photo!

I cut a dress form from scrap paper using my Silhouette and adhered it to a scrap of pink paper cut to 4×6 to fit the frame. I then added a bow made form lace, a spray of pearls, and a paper flower to finish it off.
