Learn the basics and more about your Silhouette Diecutting Machine in this information-packed course. Each week we'll learn a new feature of the Silhouette Studio and Craft Robo diecutting software while creating finished scrapbook layouts and projects. Both the Silhouette Studio (new) and Craft Robo (original) software will be covered each week. Whether you're a beginner or already have some experience with the Silhouette, this course will teach you tips, tricks, and techniques to get the most out of your Silhouette Machine.

Lesson One: 

  • Setting Up Your Silhouette
  • Learning to Use Shapes and Text
  • Grouping and Ungrouping

Lesson Two:

  • Cutting Basics
  • Cutting Settings for Various Media (Cardstock Versus Patterned Paper, etc)

Flower divas Jennifer Priest and Michelle Van Etten will teach you how to create ethereal, romantic flowers using ribbon, textile, and paper. Save money and create custom flowers to perfectly compliment any project or any color combination. Michelle and Jennifer can show you how to make designer knock-offs and create stunning looks that are all your own. We'll create a technique book in class that you can add to in subsequent classes as well as show you numerous ways to use these flowers in your crafting.


Lesson 1: Soft Papers — Tissue Paper, Crepe Paper, Coffee Filters

We'll each show you how to create 4 flowers using the materials above. Learn to create rolled crepe paper roses, crepe paper rosettes, coffee filter flowers, tissue paper flowers, and more. We'll also create the base of a technique book to use during this class and subsequent All About Flowers courses.

Lesson 2: More Paper Flowers
Folded rosettes, roses, spiral flowers, and other paper flowers will be covered this week.

Lesson 3: Ribbon, Lace, & Trims
We'll create a several flowers using ribbons, lace, and trims.

Lesson 4: Everything Else
Fun and frilly, soft and flirty, we'll create more amazing paper flowers that look like a million bucks (but you can make for pennies on the dollar!)
