Out and About

Over the last year or two I have worked pretty much every weekend, give or take a rare weekend off here or there. This month I am taking an unprecedented amount of time off as I have only ONE more class scheduled before December. I know, it's crazy! So before I hibernate at home for a while, I thought it would be nice to share a little about where I've been this month so far:

This weekend I vendored at a craft fair at Scrapbooking Made Simple. There were lots of handmade goodies in the shop and I came home with a super cute Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer stake form my front yard.

Last weekend, I taught classes on both Saturday and Sunday here in So Cal. Saturday I was at Collective Journey, getting an early start on Christmas as I taught my Joyful Seasons mini album:

Everyone looks so intense, concentrating on their projects!! They did an awesome job and we got mostly finished :) There was sewing, binding, painting, spray, folding…lots of awesome techniques in this class and the ladies who attended did an awesome job on their books!!

On Sunday, I traveled through wind, rain, and hail to Cool Scrapbook Stuff in Poway, CA to teach my Random Little Things class for one last time as well as offer a free make n take. We had a grand time!

We did the make n take Rain or Shine but the incredibly heavy downpour and plethora of car accidents kept people away sooooo I have some extra kits!! Everyone who took my class also did the make n take:

So, back to the extra kits. You can receive one of these extra kits for FREE with any etsy order of any KIT from my shop through November 24, 2011. Check out all the kits I have for sale here:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/hydrangeahippo?section_id=6612502
I will also give away TWO set of kits, a dog 2 page layout and a cat two page layout, here on my blog. All you have to do to enter is:
  • “Like” My Etsy Shop
  • Follow my Facebook Page
  • Follower me on Twitter
  • Follow my Blog here (on the left)
  • And leave a comment here on this blog post telling me each thing you did
I will choose TWO lucky winners on Friday :)

I am hoping these next two weeks off will be a nice rest for me to continue to be inspired and rejuvenate my creativity. I think we're planning a trip to Disneyland for Thanksgiving , our new tradition since last year, and there are some parties and get-togethers around birthdays for the family. Speaking of birthdays, this month its my birthday and I am not sure what I will do. Maybe a marathon on my Housewives shows! LOL

I hope you have a moment to take a little time for yourself to re-energize during the hustle and  bustle of the holiday season.
