Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you a mini album I made using the Nature Walk Crafting kit from here in the Hydrangea Hippo store.

When I saw the cute little marshmallows that are in the kit I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  Making a campfire using some paper scraps and my Cricut machine, I then cut the marshmallows in half and glued them to the front of my album to create the scene.

The album sets on its spine and has lots of room for my youngest's bestie to document her overnight girl scout summer camp experience.

Each page has lots of special goodies that came from the kit. Some fussy cut from the gorgeous papers and some added “as is”.

Fun buttons, flowers and other goodies make each page special.  And each page is actually a pocket so that she can store extra photos and notes inside.

All the ribbons and trims help to make the album extra special and I included a few tags so she would have even more room to document her experience.

Finally I embellished the canvas bag that was included in the kit and attached it to the side.

I hope that you enjoy this mini album as much as she did.

Hugs.

  1. I think this is darling! I love the 3D marshmallows! I think you should show it to GSA and see if they’d be interested in a kit! I know my scouts would have loved making this!
