Holiday decor, like this heart themed Valentine's Day placque, comes together lickety split with Xyron adhesives! A quick swipe of the Xyron Glue Stick for Corners applies a vintage image on Craft Attitude film to a Smoothfoam tile while the Xyron 2.5″ Sticker Maker makes quick work of glittering chipboard diecuts. The heart image is from The Graphics Fairy, the go-to place for vinateg style images online. You can choose any image you ant, vintage or otherwise, and print it on Craft Attitude film to make a custom decor piece. Wouldn't these be fun at a wedding, with a photo of the happy couple on them? Or at a retirement party? Or even a birthday party!

I created this decorative faux placque in the same style as the placques I demoed in the Smoothfoam booth at CHA.  Here's a closer look at the details on this placque:

I used a mix of chunky and ultra-fine glitter to achieve this ‘encrusted' look on a Sizzix die cut chipboard flourish. I just love how this came out!

So, I know what you really want to know: how did I make it?! You know how I roll — I made a video!! I hope you try these techniques on a home decor project soon. BONUS TIP – you can decorate the BACK of this 12×12 tile for another holiday or theme to get double duty out of the one Smoothfoam Sheet!
