Thank you!

This morning I presented my little scrapbooking class to the caregivers attending the Inland Caregivers Resource Center retreat at Foremost in Hesperia, CA.

Last night my husband and daughter helped me finish up the books that needed binding, gather embellies and ribbons to match the books that needed embellies, and pack the kits into bags with instructions. We finally finished at 1am but the result was great!

Everyone loved the kits, the goodies inside, and especially the little tags attached saying how much the caregivers are appreciated. They were all really excited to be getting such generous kits — thank you so much to everyone who helped me complete this enormous task by donating your time supplies, and paying for postage to get the books to me on time! Here are the caregivers working on their books:

Kits with tools and adhesive for each table ;) Each attendee got to take some adhesive home so they could finish up adding their photos. Katie helped me pass these out and show the attendees how to use each type of adhesive. I kitted 75 books and we STILL had leftovers–I kind of made too many ;) So the caregivers got to take any extra books and kits home. They really liked that!!

It was kind of frenzy as everyone got their extra kits — it was really nice to see the caregives excited about these books!!

Thank you so much
to everyone who took the time to make books for this cause–it really helped me to get prepared for the class and helped the caregivers to have a great experience as well as some wonderful, embellie (and love) packed kits. I would not have been able to pull it off without the help of these special ladies who helped make a total of
71 books
!!!!!

Here's the staff of Inland Caregivers who helped me out during my class–they still have a long day ahead of them!

We might be working together again in the future and I will let you all know about that when it happens.

Right now I am off to pack for Desert Scrappers! WOOHOO! Sooooo looking forward to a nice weekend and the yummy huevos rancheros at the hotel ;)

Happy Scrapping!
