My new online class is starting this coming week and there is still time to sign up!! I am so excited to be presenting this class because it seems that half the fun (or work, depending on how you look at it) is organizing all of our pretty little crafty supplies. I have tried many different systems over the years as well as checked out the systems of other crafters. I share my tried and true techniques but also share ideas from some of my friends – business women, busy moms, “weekend” scrappers…we are going to have a blast!!

Online Class – 4 Weeks
with Jennifer Priest

This class is all about organizing scrap supplies, how to pack for a crop, class or retreat weekend, and how to use your stash. I make about 300+ layouts a year and have a reputation for getting a TON done at crops and retreats. I’ve gathered my best tips and advice to help us get from messy scrapper to efficient, organized crafter!

Lesson One and Two: Organizing Supplies
We’ll explore different methods of organizing supplies (brand, color, product type, hybrid style), storage options, using the space you have (under the bed to a whole room), and using your supplies as decorations.

Lesson Three: Getting Ready to Create
Packing for a Crop vs Class vs Retreat Weekend & organizing photos

Lesson Four: Working Through Your Stash
How to use the 10,000 piece eyelet set you bought at expo 5 years ago, when to let go of something because you will never use it, how to challenge yourself with the supplies you have/fall in love with your stash again. PLUS: How to shop without guilt.

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
