Last weekend I went to Scrap N Yap, Scrapbook Land, and Memory Lane Scrapbooking here in California to do some make n takes with Epiphany Crafts and for the Art-Full Horizons Road Tour!!
This weekend I went to Scrap Happy Sisters in Glendale, AZ to teach a class and Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert, AZ for the Art-Full Horizons Road Tour. WOW!!
I had a great time!!! It was alot of driving, braving wind, rain, and snow, and lots of packing and unpacking but it was all worth it. Meeting online friends, making new friend, sharing about awesome products and techniques, and telling everyone about Art-Full Horizons…so much fun!
Xaver and I drove out on Friday night to miss the snow that had started falling at our house. We arrived in Phoenix about 11pm and checked right in to our hotel. The next day we had breakfast at Over Easy in Phoenix. It was featured on several Food Network shows and boy, it was yummy!! I had an omelet and Xaver has a breakfast called the Wold Pack–it was HUGE! And not on our diet but hey, he can have a little break every once in a while ;) My omelet was on our Atkins Diet and I added asparagus for a little veg in there. From there we headed to Scottsdale to a mall….Fashion somethingorother that I don't remember. We stopped in at Anthropologie to see their displays. Did you know each store has different displays?! Yup, they sure do! Donna Salazar would have loved this one–it had TONS of denim in it! A denim wall, denim harp, and a folded denim spiral, like DNA, from floor to ceiling.
On Feb 26th I taught at Scrap Happy Sisters in Glendale, Arizona for the first time! It was so much fun. Everyone really loved learning about Smooch Spritz and we spritzed just about everything under the sun in the class ;)

After my class Xaver and I raced on down to Scrapbook Barn in Gilbert, AZ to meet up with Donna Salazar for the Art-Full Horizons Road Tour!!

We did a card for the Epiphany Crafts make n take — everyone loved it! We also played games, ate Dove Chocolates, and just had a blast! The crop ended at 9pm and we hit the road to go back home. We probably should have gotten a hotel for the night but it was late about we could not find anywhere to book so we braved wind, rain, and hail to get back home. Once we hit the Cajon Pass we hit some ice but we made it! When we got home the smoke alarms were all going off!!!!!! One of them had some issue with the battery and set the rest off. So we were nice and awake at that point, about 3am. LOL We're still recovering but it was a great time :) Looking forward to doing it again, minus the rain, ice, wind, and snow parts ;)
Happy Scrapping!!
