Every year at Christmas I buy tons of glass ball ornaments to make ornaments. I've tried so many — rolled paper inside, California snowmen, adding letters and buttons, filling them with different things…and every year I end up OVERbuying them. This year I only have 12 undecorated glass ornaments leftover — woohoo!
In the spirit of trying to use them up and get a jump start on the holiday season, I decided to decorate a few. This one features a scented and foiled poinsettia on the outside.
You would not believe how easy and fun this is to make. PLUS, it has a peppermint scent to it!
This ornament would be a great hostess gift, office decor, or look pretty tied on a gift. Here's how to make it:
Supplies: (affiliate links)
- Velvet ribbon, sequin trim
- Ornament Hooks
- Glass Ornament – Darice
- Clearsnap Designer Foils in Red, Green, and Lime Burst
- Clearsnap Design Adhesives
- ColorBox Scentz Scented Embossing Powder in Peppermint
- Heat Gun
- Hot Glue
Thanks for stopping by!
