This is the first year in YEARS that I am not attending a National Scrapbook Day event ON National Scrapbook Day!!!! It's a little nuts. My good friend Jen Cushman is visiting California and teaching metalsmithng classes this weekend so we will be hanging out on the actual National Scrapbook Day. On Sunday, I'll be heading to Orange County for a local crop with my pals from Who Gives A Scrap?.

Not being at a crop on National Scrapbook Day got me thinking – what would I do  if I had no local stores or events to go to on National Scrapbook Day? Well, crop online of course! I've gathered up all of the online National Scrapbook Day events I could find and put them all here in one place for you. If you see another one or you're hosting one, please add the link in the comments!

I was surprised there weren't many online events BUT the ones that are going on are really amazing!!! Check out this list:

blogheader-new-nsd-2014blue is hosting an all day long online party with challenges, prizes and more. Check out the challenges, even if you are going to a traditional crop, because some of the contests don't end until June 1 so you can always enter later (and win hopefully!)

Big Picture Scrapbooking has teamed up with Studio Calico for an online race to 10K  with a goal of adding 10,000 scrapbook pages to Instagram on May 3

  • Post your scrapbook pages to Instagram using the hashtag #NSD10K on May 3
  • Open to anyone worldwide

Scrapbook Expo is hosting an online crop May 3rd, all day long!

A Cherry On Top is doing an online crop with prizes etc. Sign up for their newsletter on their website to get all of the details on challenges and giveaways!

Pazzles Craft Room is doing a Virtual Crop – so very cool!

3BirdsDesign has a giveaway planned for May 3 but is doing all kinds of inspiring blogposts and ideas all week long with some of your fave scrapbookers, like Jana Eubank.

Clearsnap is doing a scrapbooking idea roundup on May 3 – so head on over there to get inspired!

LIVE With Prima is hosting on May 3rd, all day live classes online.

I hope this helps you find a place to be and creative scrapbookers to hang with if you are spending NSD at home this year. If you are going to an in-person event, bookmark this page on your phone so you can scroll through and get ideas, find inspiration, and enter to win prizes!

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
