Anchor Sept 2014 KIT CLUB Collage

So what if I don't want summer to end!? I know you don't want summer to end either! That's why September's kit, ANCHOR,  is filled with all things coastal, beach, and relaxing. Scrap your summer pics in the last light of summer and bask in the happy glow of our monthly subscription kit!

We're also super excited to welcome our first Guest Designer, Trisha Neal!!!

Trisha has a colorful and messy style, infusing mixed media techniques into her specialty, handmade books, which range from altered books to hand bound books with surprise elements, such as pop-ups. She's been published in Altered Arts Magazine and has been part of a world-wide Artist Trading Card project, both of which you can check out on her blog. We're super excited to welcome her as our guest this month and share her creations with you!

“Thanks to my dear mother, who kept the house well stocked in art supplies and good art books, and who set the example by continually working on different art and craft projects, taking me to galleries, art shows, and on forays to the art supply store, I have an undeniable, ingrained love of all things art. A big thank you to Hydrangea Hippo for the opportunity to create using the gorgeous September kit!” — Trisha Neal

Thanks for stopping by today!

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.
