For last year or so I just haven't been inspired to scrapbook much. I didn't order prints of my photos, I am not organized with the prints I do have, and well, if I can actually get out the door and arrive at a crop, I am ahead of the game! For that reason, I just started scrapping layouts without pictures. My crop bag is always full of goodies, new and a lot of old ones I need to use up, I knew some of the things I had done with the family, like flying kites, so I just used the themes I could remember to generate themed pages and made generic pages the rest of the time. This year I have created almost 60 “blank” pages!

I finally added photos to one of these generic pages:

Supplies:

  • Stickers, Paper – Creative Imagines
  • Journaling Pen – Copic
  • Cardstock – Bazzill
  • Chipboard Letters – American Crafts

I took these pics of our dog Cooper using settings I learned in Rad Megan‘s DSLR Photography class at Craftcation this past March 2013. I am still working on it but I am really proud of my photos. And this 5 year old layout is pretty good too, if I do say so myself. Simple is good.
