Hydrangea Hippo by Jennifer Priest

Craft for the Modern World

Author: Jennifer Priest

It started with jewelry, beading, sewing, home decor, painting, basket weaving, pottery, and cross-stitch. Marry that to an entrepreneurial spirit & at 9 years old a girl is selling her wares at craft fairs as far as her parents and grandparents would drive her. These days, Jennifer enjoys crafts of all genres from sewing to scrapbooking to jewelry with a little dabbling in the mixed media world. Her style is approachable and she wants everyone who sees her work to feel that they too can embrace creativity and make their home and life beautiful.

Simple Five Fridays #6 – A Collection of Five

They say things look best gathered in odd numbers (you know Fibonacci and all that jazz). That is what this post is all about! Here is a collection of projects all featuring FIVE of something. Five Photos I printed the same photo five times in sepia tone and layered it on the page to signify

Just Doing My Own Thing.

I’ve been working on some personal, non-DT, non-class scrapping this past week. I took two weeks “off” from classes. Sometimes I just need to do my own thing for a while! Here are some pages I did…a couple of these are the second pages to pages I’ve already completed and some are just me scrapping

Them Apples!

Last week my mom gave us a TON of apples and pears grown in her orchard. I gave some away at Book Club last Wednesday but we still have just a TON. More than we could ever just eat. Plus they are truly organic so I don’t want to waste such a treasure–and they were

My "Mommy" Time

When Matthew naps I could think of a million things I want to get done….but I’d rather take a nap with him. Or sit next to him on the couch and watch “Yo Gabba Gabba” with him. Play with his feet, play with his toys, talk to him. I guess I’m just enjoying being a
