I was provided product for this project and review. All opinions are 100% my own.

I was recently inducted into Tombow's Sticky U! I was sent a sample of Tombow's new Xtreme adhesive and given an assignment to create something with this new adhesive, putting it to the test. Way back in the day I was a member of the Tombow Design Team! So I knew what quality to expect in terms of adhesive but, wow, was I impressed with Xtreme.

Altered Photo Tray Collage TITLE

I decided to put Xtreme through the ringer and really test it by creating this Fall Altered Tray for photos. You say it sticks to paper, cardstock, and wood? And fabric? You say it's 5 times stronger than other adhesive runners? And so on….we'll see about that. I made this fall home decor piece using only the Tombox Xtreme adhesive!!! Can you believe it? Check out my video to see this in action:

The adhesive performed as promised. I used the Tombow Xtreme to adhere the following on this project:

  • Paper
  • Cardstock
  • Wood
  • Wool Felt
  • Burlap Fabric
  • Metal Flower Stems
  • Buttons
  • Lace
  • Ribbon
  • Stickers

The trick to this ultra sticky adhesive is to do the side-swipe when you're done rolling. Just swipe the runner to the side with a flick of your wrist to break the stream of adhesive. If you don't do that, you will end up with a gummy mess on the runner, but luckily, that peels off. The side swipe really works!
